NASHVILLE, TN — Secure your ticket for the ‘Destination Known: Wines of Sicily’ event at the Gray & Dudley on Thursday, July 22, 2021.
Since the travel border is still closed to many, Gray & Dudley are creating a new experience focused on traveling—food and wine—close to you in Nashville. Enjoy some wine and food from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Gray & Dudley, 221 2nd Avenue North, Nashville, Tennessee 37201.
So this time, Gray & Dudley are taking Sicily, Italy to you in the form of wine. Sicily has been making wine since 4000 B.C. They say that Dionysius, the god of the grape harvest and wine, brought wine to Sicily.
The warm and dry climate of Sicily suits wine production and making Sicily a prime candidate for organic farming. Sicilian wines were once known for making mass-produced “jug” wines by blending their native grapes with those from other regions in Italy. In the present time, more young producers have been taking their family’s land and start producing more honest wine from indigenous grapes.
Chef Matt Bell and Wine Director Matias Yerrick will present to guests a four-course meal dinner to accompany the line-up of wines while, at the same time, showcasing the new guard of Sicilian winemakers.
The ticket per person will be $65 including food, drink and tax. So, come join the fun and experience this culinary adventure by tasting Sicily in Nashville.
If you are going to join with a group of friends, please reserve tickets under one transaction to be seated together at one table.
