NASHVILLE, TN — Nashville Soccer Club announced today that the club’s road match against Inter Miami CF would take place at 5 p.m. CT on Aug. 8 at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The current Nashville Soccer Club is the continuation of the USL (United States Soccer League) club with the same name. Currently, they share their home ground with the National Football League’s Tennessee Titans in the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, TN. However, Nashville SC is planning to move into a soccer-specific stadium in the Nashville Fairgrounds in 2022.

Both Nashville and Inter Miami CF are the newest expansion franchises of Major League Soccer, which expanded to 27 franchises in 2021. Each franchise started playing their inaugural MLS campaign in the 2020 season in Eastern Conference.

Nashville has two wins, no losses and two draws record against Inter Miami. The record includes a 3-0 home victory against the David Beckham-owned franchise in the 2020 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs, the first instance in MLS that a team won a playoff match during their inaugural season since 1998.

Nashville SC CEO Ian Ayre will speak to the media today at 2 p.m. CT via Zoom. Ayre will discuss the club’s plans moving into the seat selection process for current season ticket members at the new Nashville SC Stadium.

Follow Nashville SC as they prepare to visit the New York Red Bulls on Friday, June 18, by visiting or by the club’s social channels. Tickets can be bought online here.
