NASHVILLE, TN — Nashville Software School is a non-profit vocational school in Nashville that aims to provide motivated individuals with access to a career in technical fields. Nashville Software School (NSS) offers courses in web development, UI & UX design, data science and data analytics. NSS equips the students with real-world experience and prepares them to excel in their jobs by facilitating training, mentorship, project and team-based learning environment.
NSS provides evening programs, part-time (nights and weekends), boot camp and professional development to meet the students' time availability.
The school is dedicated to its mission to grow diversity in technology by facilitating the underrepresented groups or financially disadvantaged to start their careers in tech. The students come from various educational backgrounds. Some of them have zero experience in tech.

The school recently celebrated its ninth anniversary and 1,549 graduates of NSS. John Wark, CEO of Nashville Software School, wrote a post to celebrate the milestone and highlight their accomplishments. He also shared NSS's goal to reach 2,000 graduates at the end of 2022.
NSS announced the new position of director of learning programs to work on their strategies to fulfill the demand for tech talents. NSS named Jeremy Bakker, NSS alumnus and former engineering manager at Eventbrite, to fill the position. Bakker is responsible for enhancing new courses and improving existing programs.
