Diverse Landscapes of Capitol Reef National Park (Is It Underrated?)

On our Utah Road Trip, we visited many state and national parks and there are many stunning locations to choose from. While Capitol Reef is up there with some of the best Utah parks, it might not be for everyone. During Covid there were parts of the park that were closed but still the entrance featured beautiful campgrounds, green orchards and relaxing parks full of deer. This was my favorite part of the park. The second part is the Capitol Reef Scenic Drive and while Steph liked it, i wasn't too impressed as I had already seen many desert mountains with red rock and I wanted more of the greenery. Capitol Reef definitely gets better if you come at the start of the year when the orchards are blooming and it isn't so hot. So maybe plan the correct time of the year to experience Capitol Reefs full potential.
