True Food Kitchen
I ordered the grilled chicken avocado wrap and the sweet potato hash for the side. I was also intrigued by the refreshing drinks and ordered the dragon fruit limeade. The wrap was fresh and filling. The flavors went together nicely and I really appreciated the humus, avocado, cucumber combo! I only ate half of the wrap and will save the other half for my travel day. I am a sweet potato super fan and these were great! Basically just cubed roasted sweet potatoes with onions, but they were super tasty! The dragon fruit limeade was crisp and refreshing. It was a bit tart and sour, but that made it even more thirst quenching. I also liked the cute little bottle that I will likely reuse.Overall, this was a great experience and I would highly recommended!

Osteria Marco has been one of my favorite places that I had the pleasure of dining at while in Denver. We ordered the Carbonara Pizza and Burrata. Burrata was oh so fresh and creamy and perfectly paired with the airy garlic bread. Carbonara Pizza is as good as it sounds. If you like Carbonara Pasta and Pizza, it is a delicious hybrid of the two. Quite exquisite dish that you can't get anywhere else. Came with a tasty chili oil that was the perfect heat to balance the cheesy creamy flavors. As if things couldn't be better, the house red and white wines were decently pried and amazing! Quality wine for the price. I felt like I was in Italy again eating on the patio with authentic Italian food, good cheap wine, perfect weather, and people watching.

City O' City is definitely a place that I plan to visit on every trip that I take to Denver. The last time I was here was over two years ago and I had a great time then and also had a wonderful time visiting for lunch yesterday.I have had the Vegan Poutine and Vegan Buffalo Seitan wings before that are both great and yesterday I tried the Vegan Pretzel with vegan cheese and a small Vegan Caesar Salad. The Vegan Caesar Salad was good and the Vegan Pretzel was delicious, but I would have preferred a different vegan cheese sauce. Hopefully, they will change their recipe to be thicker and with less of a coconut taste. The cheese sauce on my friend's Vegan Cheesesteak was good, so maybe they can just start using the same recipe as the cheese dip for the pretzel?I love the vibe and people watching here too which is just as good as the food. I most definitely will be back.

We ordered an ostrich dog with the Conspiracy toppings. The hubby said it was a great combination of flavors. I had a bite and liked it as well. I ordered the Rattlesnake & Rabbit Chili Dog. The menu says "two great tastes that taste great together". I will have to agree, I liked it. Had a spicy flavor and the chili just topped it off. The atmosphere is relaxed and industrial. For a Thursday night it was pretty busy. If you are in town for any reason and looking for something unique, yet distinctly American come on by. If you are unsure of what to order ask the cooks and they won't steer you wrong.

Once for breakfast and for lunch/dinner (they serve both all days). Really good food, quick and friendly service even though it's constantly packed. I had the one of each, chili dog and burger with onion fries. I loved the onion fries and the burger was amazing, fresh grilled taste. The kickin pork chili is one of the things Sams is known for, we went largely in part because it was on Triple D with Guy Fieri. The second time I had breakfast, pancakes bacon eggs and potato's. Like I said they serve everything all day and we ordered a lot of food each time, it was all delicious and not very expensive. We never paid over $80 even with a group of four. I would recommend this place to anyone who comes to Denver, it's fun and quick, old fashioned diner style with a great taste and amazing staff. 4.7/5.

We got an asian salad with fried chicken and a burger to go, ordering online and showing up ~20 minutes later it was ready on arrival. Takeout process was immediate and service was good. Food was great! Burger was perfectly cooked, butter lettuce was really crunchy and nice, their sauce and pickles were delicious. I got a side of fries which also traveled surprisingly well and were crunchy and delicious. My hubby loved the asian salad, really impressed with it.The reviews for this place are legit, if you're looking for this type of food takeout, reasonably priced, and reasonably fast - this is the place for you. Highly recommend!

We had the pappardelle bolognese, eggplant parmesan, roasted beet salad, calamari, and raw/original oysters. Everything was delicious. The pappardelle was handmade, so it's more enjoyable than boxed pasta. The sauce was on point, though I wish it had slightly more meat. The eggplant parmesan was good, although nothing noteworthy for or against the dish - it's one of those dishes that is hard to reinvent or make better once you had a good one. Roasted beet salad was light and was a great appetizer and lead up to a great meal. The prize goes to the calamari, which was sweet, yet had some heat to it. This was among the best renditions of calamari I've ever had. The crunch and texture of the calamari with the sweet and hot taste profiles were a surprise for the palate.Good food and atmosphere. I highly recommend any of the dishes with handmade pasta. The calamari is unlike anything you had before; sweet and hot. This was a unique and great dining experience in Denver.

They have their own parking lot and plenty of seating options (indoor, outdoor covered, or outdoor uncovered). We were greeted right away by the most fabulous waiter who welcomed us and insisted on bringing an order of deviled eggs on the house since it was our first time in. They were tangy and the egg whites were cooked perfectly. My Traffic Jam dish was spectacular. I wish I could have those smashed potatoes for every meal. If your meal doesn't come with them I suggest getting them on the side. The bed of smashed potatoes was topped with green chili, cheese, gravy, bacon bits, egg, all of the things. It was piping hot and incredibly tasty. The service was all-around spectacular. The bartenders were smiling and singing to the music and we had a few different wait staff check in on us during our dining experience. I absolutely recommend giving Steubens a try for brunch.

Sushi Den is among one of Denver's premier sushi restaurants that's been around for almost 40 years. The atmosphere here is perfect for a date or a family meal, and service is efficient considering how busy the place gets. The vegetable roll was simple, fresh perfection. Not being a huge sushi fan, this was a nice fish-free option. Highly recommend. Spicy Tuna crispy roll was FABULOUS. Did I mention I'm not a huge sushi fan?! We devoured this, completely.Kobe beef roll was pretty good, slightly disappointed in that it just seemed strange. Tasted good, not my fave. We also ordered a spicy sashimi appetizer that was raw and had lime juice, it was insanely fresh an delicious. If you are iffy on sushi, please go here. They do it well, it's beautiful and delicious.

My friend and I split the W&C Seasonal Salad, Spicy-Criollo Rotisserie Chicken and Coriander Roasted Colorado Lamb.Firstly, that chicken was just beyond amazing! Cooked just perfect, and so soft and tender and juicy and what not! The spicy criollo sauce on the side was just the perfect pairing. 1000000 would recommend! The salad was beautiful as well; (mixed greens, crispy bacon, oven dried tomatoes, pickled red onion, house made ricotta, red wine vinaigrette)

Everything we had was amazing! The service was great. Our server was kind enough to walk us through the menu and let us know if we ordered enough since we were sharing all the dishes. She double check about food allergies too! I came here with a group of four with one person allergic to shrimp and another a vegetarian. There are so many dishes you can replace the meat option with tofu or shrimp which made it so much easier. The drinks are good but clearly the food is the star of the show. Combined with the retro decor and relax vibe, this is a definite go to for a date night or when people visit from out of town.

This was a much anticipated family dinner. We sat down outside and were delighted with the view of the fireworks. We ordered most everything our server suggested to start with: scallops, arepas, risotto and burrata. Each dish was wonderful had multiple flavor complexities. We absolutely loved the arepas, amazing combination of cheeses and textures. Still dreaming about them. For the main course we ordered the lamb burger and veggie sliders which did not have as much flavor and inspiration as the small plates but did the trick. The desserts (s'mores and cookies with ice cream) were disappointing but were sweet. Definitely should have tried some of the other options. Overall wonderful ambience and great small plates.

My first time to this bakery today! Trompeau makes and bakes everything from scratch and you can taste it in every bite. Be ready for a small wait, with a line out the door at 8:00am, arrive early to get your weekend favorites and enjoy the quaint atmosphere of the decor and people. The staff is wonderful and answers questions over and over again with the same enthusiasm each time. Trompeau is known for their outstanding pastries, which we happily took advantage of trying - and OMG. So good! We opted to try the Almond Croissant, Apple Cinnamon pastry and Blueberry Lemon pastry! All of which was literally the best thing ever! The crust was light and flaky, and so buttery! Pricing is on point, not a bad deal, if I say so myself! Well, I can certainly say, the rumors about this place are true and it's no mystery as to why there is always a line out the door! I can't wait to introduce others to this cute little gem!

Definitely the crown jewel of parks in Denver. I've been coming to this park my whole life and have run, biked, bladed, and walked around this park. It is very dog friendly and somewhat people friendly. However there is a small parking lot located near the big pretty garden right off of Exposition. It is also located near the water area where you can pedal boats and the all kinds of pedal bikes and fun things to move around in at the park. The park was definitely busy, but not crowded. There were tons of people with dogs and my social dog made it hard to getting much of a walk as she wanted to stop and greet everyone we met. Aside for walking, there were sand volleyball courts and there were a lot of people there and lots of kids playing all over the park. Parking is easy and free on the neighborhood streets adjacent to the park. I would highly recommended a visit next time you are in Denver.

I really like this place and have been coming here most of the days. WaterCourse has been like a breath of fresh air! Everything I've ordered is so delicious and doesn't taste weird or like it's a substitute. As someone that doesn't eat much meat, I love coming here when I'm feeling like I want something nutritious and comforting at the same time. Their vegan cheese options are really good too! I ordered their BBQ Pulled Jackfruit Sandwich. Loved it! Seriously. When people say it tastes just like pulled pork - they aren't lying. I was super impressed and definitely a fan! Also a must-do are their cauliflower wings! If you aren't a cauliflower person, I'm telling you, you don't need to be - give them a chance and thank me later! They’ve recently launched a new deli and pastry counter that looks amazing! The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly and while I'll always be a meat eater, Watercourse takes vegetarian food to a whole new level. Yum!

A significant piece of architecture from Denver’s past, this is a great place to stop, refresh and people watch. It is the centerpiece of the LoDo neighborhood. It’s so much fun waiting inside this old building that give you the feel of the 20's. Love that it is a functioning train stop. Some neat places to get coffee or a drink. Definitely would be my favorite little train stop if I were traveling through. Some tables in the center, looked like some people were studying not just eating. There was a small farmer’s market on Saturday morning. Small however, some nice little vendors with delicious breakfast or brunch snacks. We stopped by just to hang around and chill and see whats the hype about this place! We got a croissant, honestly it was really crunchy, buttery and really soft on the inside. It would make a yummy brekkie with some hot cocoa! They have clean restrooms as well! Not really worth going out of your way to see but worth the visit if you are in the area.

Conveniently located and solid food hall concept with a variety of options. There is indoor and outdoor seating, though I wouldn't say there is a lot of either. At a busy time, it's feasible you might have trouble snagging a table. This restaurant is basically a warehouse full of different mini-restaurants that serve a variety of foods, from a bakery to Italian to seafood to pizza. I ended up getting pasta! My pasta was so fresh, hot. The spiciness of the sauce was top notch. The shrimp was fresh and cooked perfectly. I added mushrooms cause that's my business. Very generous portion. Definitely one of the best pastas! They have an amazing service and I had a very great experience!

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. He is an avid whiskey lover and has actually never been to this distillery. An outdoor patio with picnic benches and umbrellas along with indoor seating at the bar. The boyfriend opted for the whiskey flight ($25) and 3 choices of the distillery whiskey.I chose a cocktail and it had a nice blueberry and basil with lemon flavor and was absolutely delicious! I would 100% go back for this drink! The boyfriend discovered his new favorite Stranahans from the flight and ended up buying a new bottle to start. They for sure have a really nice menu! Our server in the tasting room was super cool and spent tons of time talking to us and explaining all about the distillery and answered the plethora of questions we threw his way. It was an incredible experience, and I would strongly advise any whiskey lovers to make a stop at this distillery!
