Three months ago I had the opportunity to visit Naples, Florida. And although it is a small city, the reality is that it is an excellent place to relax. If you plan to visit this city at any time, here is a guide that will help you plan your trip, prices, and the best places to visit.

The Naples preserve

The Naples Preserve is located on a 9.5-acre site at the corner of U.S. 41 North and Fleischmann Boulevard. You can walk free on a boardwalk and see the different plants and animals. I recommend wearing comfortable exercise clothes and having time to sit and admire nature.

Take a sunset cruise

In Naples, there are different options for taking cruises. There are some dedicated to seeing animals, the sunset, and restaurants. The one I took was the sunset. It was totally worth it, it was relaxing and I had a great time with my friends.

Prices: $60-$200 depending on the cruise

Parking: Yes

Botanical Garden

This was my favorite place on my trip. The Naples Botanical Garden is beautiful and big. It has a lot of spaces divided by country and you can see different flora and fauna while you are walking.

I recommend a full day dedicated to it (or at least all morning) to be able to enjoy all its areas and admire the places.

Prices:Adults: $20
Children (4-14): $10
Children under 4: FREE

Parking: Yes

Naples zoo

In Naples Zoo you can take a walk while seeing many exotic animals like lions, giraffes, monkeys, pythons, and bears. In addition, you can be part of events in the auditorium where animals of Madagascar are exhibited.

You can buy the tickets online or at the door (but I recommend buying them on the page so you don't have to wait so much in line). They are open from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Prices:Adults: $22.95
Children (3-12): $14.95
Children under 3: FREE

Parking: Yes

Baker park

Baker Park is a huge park full of things to do. There you can do a lot of things such as biking, boating, camping, dog trails, fishing, golfing and more. It also has a picnic area with a playground for kids.

Naples pier

Naples Pier is located on the Gulf of Mexico at the West end of 12th Avenue South and is a favorite location for sightseers. It has restrooms, showers, a concession stand with a covered eating area, and beach supplies.

Prices: FREE

Parking: Every five minutes of parking costs .25, or a total of $3.00 per hour.

Personally, I liked the vacations there, even with the pandemic I was able to have a good time. Without a doubt, I would enjoy all the activities and restaurants there again.
