The Celtics then widened the gap to 11 points with a score of 98-88 and only 4 minutes and 56 seconds remaining. Despite being 10 points behind, the Miami Heat didn't give up. They made a strong effort and managed to reduce the deficit to 100-102.

With less than three seconds remaining, Jimmy Butler of the Miami Heat had a chance for three free throws after being fouled by Al Horford while attempting a three-point shot. With remarkable composure, Butler successfully made all three free throws, changing the score to 103-102 in favor of the Heat.

However, the Celtics had one final offensive play. Derrick White made a clutch shot as the buzzer sounded, securing a 104-103 victory for the Celtics.

Quoted from the game statistics, Jayson Tatum emerged as the hero for the Celtics with 31 points, followed by Jaylen Brown with 26 points. Marcus Smart also had an outstanding performance with 21 points, while Derrick White contributed 11 points and Robert Williams added 10 points.

On the Miami Heat side, Jimmy Butler led the team with 24 points. Caleb Martin also played impressively with 21 points, followed by Gabe Vincent with 15 points. Duncan Robinson, Bam Adebayo, and Max Strus also made contributions with 13, 11, and 10 points, respectively.

This result tied the series at 3-3, and the advantage shifted to the Celtics as the seventh game will be held at TD Garden in Boston on Monday, May 29, 2023.
