Kahale Warring Finally Finds His Way To New England

If we go back prior to the 2019 Draft, I fell in love with tight end Kahale Warring. He seemed like a bit of a project, however, he seemed like such a good fit for New England. Of course the Patriots ended up selecting Matt Lacosse in the seventh round, and Warring ended up going to the Houston Texans. I guess all I had to do was be patient, because Bill Belichick claimed his off of waivers yesterday, and though he has a long way to go, and his chances of making the team are slim, I’m really happy with the move. Chris Mason of Mass Live, gives us a snap shot of Warring: “Warring is a highly athletic player that didn’t find much success in Houston. A third-round pick in 2019, he missed his rookie year with a concussion and caught three passes in seven games last season. Warring only played one season of football before college, instead excelling in water polo as a high school athlete in California; he’s a project.”
