Jeep goes airborne and crashes into Akron home…

Two people were injured last night in Akron, Ohio a Jeep went airborne and crashed into the second floor of an Akron home. The crash occurred around 3am last night. The accident happened on Hawk Avenue. According to reports the driver was speeding and lost control. The SUV hit a pole and two retaining walls before going airborne and crashing into the second story of the home.

The front of an Akron house was heavily damaged on Thursday after a Jeep hit a pole and traveled through the front yard of a home on Hawk Avenue, according to officers at the scene. 

A Jeep Track hawk was traveling southbound on Hawk Avenue from Eastgate at a high speeds. The two people who were in the car a 25 year old and 17 year old both were ejected through the sunroof, said the police. The people occupied the home was NOT injured.

According to police the 17 year old was taking to Akron's Children hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The 25 year old was being held in summit county jail. No word if he was released. Officers did recovery four bottles of promethazine syrup and 200 grams of marijuana, according to Akron Police.

According to police promethazine syrup can be a key ingredient in sizzurp or drank. People mix the couch syrup with a verity of pops to obtain a "high feel". As of now the crash is still under investigation. The story is still developing. The driver will be charged with failure to control their vehicle and drug charges.
