A National Travel App Lists the Top 10 Restaurants in Marietta, But Locals May Not Agree

Ratings from a national travel app name 10 restaurants as the best in Marietta. Their list includes two chain restaurants that are based in Texas, and eight that are locally or regionally based.

In our global travel experience, we count on local recommendations when looking for the best of anything. After all, locals have the benefit of multiple visits over time to make their recommendations, versus travelers and visitors who generally give a "one-and-done" rating when passing through.

National travel app TripAdvisor lists these 10 restaurants as best in Marietta. After reviewing the list, please feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments section.

  1. Kiosco, featuring Latin and Columbian food, located at 48 Powder Springs St, Marietta.
  2. Taqueria Tsunami, serving Mexican and Latin fusion, on the Square at 70 S Park Sq NE, Marietta.
  3. Seed Kitchen & Bar, serving American and International cuisine, located at 1311 Johnson Ferry Rd Ste 504, Marietta.
  4. Stockyard Burgers & Bones, serving ribs, burgers and more just off the Marietta Square, at 26 Mill St NE, Marietta.
  5. Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen, a Texas-based seafood chain, located on the east side of I-75 off Windy Hill.
  6. Pappasito's Cantina, owned by the same Texas chain as Pappadeaux, and literally next door to Pappadeaux.
  7. Thaicoon and Sushi Bar, serving a variety of Japanese, other Asian flavors and sushi, located at 34 Mill St NE, Marietta
  8. Cuban Diner, located 1484 Roswell Rd East Marietta Shopping Center, Marietta, offering Latin, Spanish and Cuban dishes.
  9. West Cobb Diner, known locally for breakfast and diner offerings, located at 3451 Ernest W Barrett Pkwy NW, Marietta.

10. Williamson Brothers Bar-B-Q, classic barbeque and other American dishes, at 1425 Roswell Rd, Marietta.
