2022 has produced an intense level of inflation that was unseen in the United States for over 40 years.

The price of gas, food, and rent prices have increased drastically following the coronavirus lockdowns and Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

As residents continue to feel the pinch, several states in the US have introduced to measures to help those affected by inflation by providing some form of financial relief.

However, unlike the stimulus checks that were given out during the pandemic, this specific stimulus check is being handed out to ease the massive burden of inflation by the state, and therefore, not all states are issuing stimulus payments.

If you're a resident in the following states, you could potentially be receiving some money within the next few weeks.

New Jersey: The State of New Jersey has agreed to send $500 checks to married couples earning less than 150,000 dollars or to individuals who earn less than 75,000 dollars.

Illinois Inflation Stimulus Checks: Those earning less than $200,000 ($400,000 for couples) are entitled to receive $50 each. Each dependent is also eligible for a $100 payment, with a maximum cap of $400 per household.

California Inflation Stimulus Checks: Residents in California could get up to 1,050 dollars in stimulus payments, with households with an income of less than 150,000 dollars receiving the full amount of 1,050 dollars.

Massachusetts Inflation Stimulus Checks: Those earning between $38,000 and $100,000 are entitled to receive a payment of $250. Married couples will receive $500 if they earn less than $150,000 combined.

Additionally, the following states are considering payments: Montana, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.
