6 States Sending Out Stimulus Checks In September

California has just expanded their inflation relief program to include residents that reported 0$ in California Adjusted Gross Income.

The Golden State Stimulus of 2021 Californians whose sole source of income was public assistance were not eligible for the stimulus.

The new Middle-Class Tax Refund has now expanded and will include a stimulus for residents that rely exclusively on Social Security or disability, KRON 4 News Reports.

Currently, there are 6 states that have decided to take stimulus checks into their own hands and are claiming to be sending them out in September, which is just a few short days away.

Illinois is also issuing a tax rebate and sending individuals $50 that earn below $200,000, joint filers $100, and families up to $300.

Colorado residents will be receiving checks of $750 and $1,500 for couples due to the state's leftover revenue.

Alaska has just approved a $3,200 direct payment, combining energy relief and the state's Permanent Fund dividend. Also, according to Alaska Public Media, the Alaska Legislature finalized the state budget in May, and has already sent eligible residents a check for $3,200.

The surplus revenue is from high oil demand due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Virginia and Hawaii will be also be sending their residents' tax rebates which are dependent on their income and tax liability.

Minnesota frontline workers who submitted an application for direct payments are supposed to receive their checks after the state announces the official amount.

Additionally, in Tacoma, Washington, 110 families received $500 monthly checks in December. Their payments will continue through the end of the year.
