How Cheese is Made in South Florida!!

On my way back to Miami from Tampa, I stopped by Dakin Dairy Farms, a family-owned dairy farm in Myakka City, Florida. Join me as I take a tour of the farm and see how cheese is made in Florida?! Dakin Dairy Farms is a sustainable farm that has been in business since 1973. Their cows only eat grass, which makes for tastier and richer dairy products! They produce milk, cheese, ice cream, and much more! I met up with Courtney Dakin, who showed me around the farm! They have 4,000 cows at the farm, and they milk about 2,400 of them every day of the year. They have different types of cows. Their Jersey cows have higher butter fat and are great at producing butter and cream.
