Are you visiting Barcelona and want to know where the best spots around the city for Instagram are? Let me show it to you.
1. Casa Battlò
Casa Batllo is worth a 1-2 hour visit, it is a marvellous residential building to see inside. Antoni Gaudi has created many interesting rooms which take you all the way up to the roof terrace. It is really original and interesting to visit Casa Batló, it is a whole new world of colours and nature inspiration which makes Gaudi a master of a revolution in the arquitecture and makes us believe that we are in a fantasy world during our whole visit.
I recommend that you buy the tickets online in advance to avoid the enormous agglomerations of people. I also highly recommend the terrace and the main salon with their amazing colours.
2. Tibidabo Mountain
Very nice place to spend a day with or without kids. If you wanna visit the adventure park you can also visit the Cathedral which is next to it. The view over Barcelona grom here is amazing. The adventure park is not big, but it surely is fun.
There are three ways to get to the park:
- There is the bus T2A departing from plaza Catalunya and going to Tibidabo, it costs 3 euros per person and the ride lasts 50 minutes.
- The Funicular del Tibidabo will take you from square Doctor Andreu (Placa del Doctor Andreu) to the upper platform of the funicular, located near the park and the temple.
- Finally, taxi is probably the fastest and most convenient way to get to Tibidabo mountain.
3. Basilica of the Sagrada Familia
This is one of most amazing buildings i have ever seen in my life, it's absolutely fantastic and magnificent. I was enjoying the details of its architecture. I believe that everyone going to Spain must see it. It is incredible how just an artist managed to imagine and develop such modern and futuristic columns, followed by all the colorful windows. The ability of Gaudí to recall nature in every corner in such a spiritual place is impressive, in fact, the two come together, giving a general harmony and serenity to the place and to the people in it.
The most beautiful area in my humble opinion. An excellent boulevard and a beach to enjoy great sunsets in front of the mediterranean sea in the heart of Barcelona city! Lots of cafes, bars, restaurants and other facilities. It's nice to go for a walk here, as well as ridng the bike or doing sports. I loved the diversity of this beautiful historic city filled with rich culture, along with the added treat a beach. We rented bicycles and toured our way around, parking them where we wished them to be and taking it all in, the friendly people, the delicious food and all I can really say is that a day on the beach, soaking up the sunshine, just adds to the experience.
