For years, I've had this idea that people experience a slow, yet delicious financial "death by $10 lunches” due to eating out. If you're eating out all the time, going out to eat might be the biggest waste of money in your budget. While it's more like $15 lunches these days, I put this video together to show the short-term and long-term effects of these seemingly harmless meals on your finances to show why these meals may be one of the biggest habits that is making you poor. It might just be a pizza, burrito, or overpriced salad, but over time, these meals can be preventing you from paying off debt, saving for your future, or even buying a house, one meal at a time.
