Rebel Wilson is saying that she just isn't funny as more now that she isn't "fat." The 41-year-old actress is now 77 pounds lighter than she once was - 2020 marked the "year of health" start for Wilson, a deal that clearly lasted more than one year.
Posting to social media this week, the Australian updated to announce she's hosting the EE British Academy Film Awards in March, with a photo showing her in a blue blazer and definitely slimmer than she once was. Rebel stated she's "honored" to be host, also joking that COVID "won't exist" by March as it'll have been "canceled."
Then addressing her weight, the Olly wellness partner continued:
"It's going to be so much fun! I don't wanna put any pressure on this - I know I'm not going to be funny because I am no longer fat. And besides, I'm not going to 'sweat-it' with nerves because I have a peculiar medical condition where I can't sweat...or cause offense to people because of my adorable Australian accent."
Wilson shed the weight via mindful eating, plus plenty of outdoor walks. Also name-dropping some other famous faces, the star further stated: "So basically I'll just be there to hang out with Dame Judi Dench and together we'll both try and bond with Daniel Craig."
Rebel is followed by over 10 million on Instagram. In November 2020, she went on Live to discuss her weight loss journey, admitting that some days, she does still turn to chocolate in moments of stress. Wilson has also shared a photo of herself at her "most unhealthiest", where she admitted the miles masked pain.
