My Favorites at Harry's Roadhouse

Harry's Roadhouse is an excellent restaurant located in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

The food is absolutely delicious and they offer a myriad of options for the health-conscious, the indulgent foodies, the avid carnivores, vegetarians, and vegans alike: They are even happy to provide their guests with modifications, so you can ask for them to substitute certain ingredients if you have allergies or you want something dairy-free, for example, at least in many cases!

Fortunately, there are a myriad of options when it comes to meals, and, honestly, everything is expertly prepared.

That being said, my personal favorites are their grilled cheese sandwich with fries, followed by their indulgently delicious brownie sundae.

The vanilla ice cream, topped with whipped cream, on a slightly heated brownie (with nuts) is to die for.

The caramel is heated, complemented with a drizzle of warm chocolate sauce, and the pecans are lightly toasted.

It is enormous though, so you'll want to bring a large appetite!

I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

When you order their famous grilled cheese, you will receive perfectly toasted, golden-brown sourdough bread sandwiching aged Cabot extra sharp cheddar cheese—the best I've had!— coupled with perfectly caramelized onions, oozing as you take that cherished first bite. It comes with a hot 'n' sweet mustard sauce which I find absolutely fantastic: It enchants the senses!

Of course, you'll also get a heap of delicious and perfectly cooked fries, which are incredible.

These are certainly my go-tos—and you really can't go wrong at Harry's—but other notable items on their menu are the huevos rancheros and blue corn waffles.

If you live in New Mexico or you're stopping by, this is a great place to eat! I hope you enjoy the food!
