Mavericks rumors today are all about the heartbreaking Game 4 loss to the Utah Jazz in the 2022 NBA playoffs. The Mavericks had a chance to make the first-round playoff series a 3 games to 1 lead with Luka Doncic returning to the lineup, but Rudy Gobert’s alley-oop dunk from Donovan MItchell gave the Jazz a 100-99 win to even the series at 2 games a piece. While Doncic had 30 points in his return from injury, it was not enough despite Jalen Brunson having 23 points of his own. The Mavericks will now host the Jazz before returning to Utah for Game 6.
