A popular reality television star has reportedly died in Salt Lake City, Utah, just six months after Gunter Nezhoda, a fan favorite from the show "Storage Wars," was diagnosed with cancer.
Gunter Nezhoda:
Nezhoda reportedly died earlier this week in his sleep while in Salt Lake City. He had reportedly flown to Utah to try and undergo emergency surgery for his cancer, but doctors were unable to provide any further help. His death was first announced by his son and fellow "Storage Wars" star Rene Nezhoda, in a statement to TMZ. Nezhoda's other son, Ricky, was reportedly with his father at the time of his death.
He was first diagnosed with lung cancer back in September of 2022.
Before appearing on "Storage Wars" with his son, Gunter, who was born in Austria before moving to Germany and later Las Vegas, was also a distinguished photographer, taking photos for brands such as Ford and Microsoft, several of which were later published in magazines and advertisements for the brands.
In addition to his photography, he also acted in several movies and was a bassist for musicians such as Kevin Dubrow, Michael Schenker, and Leslie West.
"Storage Wars" Appearances:
Nezhoda was in several episodes of the popular reality show from 2015 to 2019 and was expected to appear in the show's upcoming 14th season alongside his son.
Gunter Nezhoda was 67 years old.
We extend our condolences to Nezhoda's family and loved ones.
