A 39-year-old man has been arrested for Violations of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, stemming from a multi-agency drug investigation, per officials with the GBI.
During the search warrant executions, the GBI seized approximately 405 grams of suspected cocaine, around 2 kilograms of MDMA/ecstasy, 135 pounds of suspected marijuana, and 45 firearms.
As a result, 39-year-old Vincent Simon of Ellenwood was arrested on February 6 on one count of Violations of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, per officials.
Simon was transported to the DeKalb County jail, booked on the charge, with other charges pending, officials stated.
Officials stated that multiple agencies conducted this investigation, including the GBI West Metro Regional Drug Enforcement Office and the DeKalb County Police Department, to “make an impact on the current street level drug distribution within DeKalb County and promote a safer place for productive citizens.”
