Once again, the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) has announced multiple arrests following yet another contraband attempt in a Georgia prison.
This week, GDC officials stated that the incident recently occurred at Hancock Prison, naming five suspects accused of attempting to sneak in a large quantity of illegal drugs, cell phones, cell phone chargers, and more.
According to the GDC, the five individuals charged in connection with the attempt include Kenneth Seaborn Jr., Christen Marie Thornton, Dannaye Walker, Jonathan Lodge, and Dartavion Thomas.
The GDC also revealed that Walker and Lodge are both suspects in contraband attempts at two other Georgia prisons, and Thomas was wanted on an outstanding warrant for armed robbery.
GDC officials also stated,
Our OPS Special Agents and Canine Officers worked tirelessly in accomplishing their mission of locating and confiscating large amounts of contraband, that in the hands of offenders could be detrimental to the safe operations of our facilities and the safety of the public. Thank you for all you do!
