In the wake of last month's announcement by the Georgia Department of Corrections regarding multiple arrests linked to contraband attempts in state prisons, this month has already seen three such attempts at two state prisons, resulting in six arrests.

On September 3, three individuals, including Bowman Stanton, Odarian Baldwin, and former inmate Derrick Corbin, were charged in connection with a contraband attempt at Calhoun State Prison.

Officials reported another contraband attempt occurred at the same prison on the following day, involving a substantial quantity of illegal drugs, cell phones, chargers, and more, leading to the arrest of Raheem Brown.

Most recently, at Macon State Prison, per officials, Monkleya Hill and Angel Roberson were charged in connection with a contraband attempt, during which various items, including drugs, cell phone chargers, firearms, and cell phones, were seized.
