Douglas shooting suspect arrested again on drug charges following bond release
A 23-year-old who was arrested last year in connection with a local shooting is back in custody after being found in possession of suspected methamphetamine and a firearm. According to a Coffee County Drug Unit preliminary report, on September 24, a deputy conducted a traffic stop due to the driver improperly wearing his seatbelt. During the stop, a brief investigation revealed that the driver, Kavonte Debro, had suspected methamphetamine and a Bretta PX4 Storm 9mm pistol. The deputy then contacted an on-call drug detective and handed over the evidence to the unit.
