Call for Images - Gordon Parks "From the Heart"
The Valley Photo Center will celebrate Black History Month in February, 2023 with a tribute to Gordon Parks. As part of the celebration we'll be displaying photographs inspired by Gordon Parks in a special juried photo contest exhibit. Deadline for on line entries is now January 27, 2023 so enter now.

Springfield MA – February is Black History Month and what better way to celebrate it than dedicating an exhibit and activities to Gordon Parks. The Valley Photo Center located on the upper level of Tower Square, 1500 Main St., in Springfield, Mass. will have a photo exhibit all month and a reception and special lecture on Sunday, February 19th from 2:00 to 5:00 PM about Gordon Parks by the director of the Gordon Parks Museum in Fort Scott, Kansas, Parks’ home town. It’s all free, but pre-registration at Valleyphotocenter.com is recommended.
