NEW ORLEANS, LA – The Dinner Detective, America’s largest interactive murder mystery dinner, is coming to New Orleans on August 7, from 6 to 9 p.m., at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel at 2150 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Kenner, only a short drive away from the French Quarter.
Since the Los Angeles Grand Opening in 2004, The Dinner Detective has risen and become the largest murder mystery dinner show in the United States. Unlike another mystery dinner theater performance, the action will happen all around the audience, even involving them as part of the show.
The actors of the show are hidden in plain sight by becoming one with the audience. The stories are not set with a specific theme or time period but at present-day and real-time. Attendees can crack the mystery while feasting on a three-course dinner.
Please note that this show is geared towards adults. Teenagers age 15 and above are allowed with adult supervision. No child younger than 15 is allowed to attend.
Mild content, adult humor, loud noises from prop guns, loud simulated gunshots, and short lighting blackouts will be included as part of the show. Other dates are also available, including August 21, September 11, September 25, and October 16. More dates will be announced soon.
Seats are limited, and each admission includes full dinner, murder mystery entertainment, waitstaff gratuity, prize package, and more. A fully-stocked bar is also available through the entire show, from which you can choose a wide selection of beer, wine, and cocktails.
