NEW ORLEANS, LA — ASM Global is looking for a full-time event coordinator to work in the Louisiana Superdome.

The coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling events. They are tasked to lead, coordinate, or participate in pre and post-conference meetings. They will supervise the staffings on events. They will ensure all FF&E requirements are met.

The coordinator will encounter a situation where immediate decisions are needed. They must maintain professionalism and positive public relations with clients, patrons, and staff. And they will be assigned with other related duties.

In order to be successful in this position, candidates must be able to execute assigned tasks successfully. They are excellent communicators with great organizational skills. They are highly motivated, self-directed, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. And they can work at random times, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in the facility industry. They are preferred to have prior experience within Facility Coordination. They will also have to pass a criminal background check.

The position will require a lot of moving. They will regularly move around and stand for long hours and work inside and outside the building. People with disabilities may be equipped with reasonable assistance to perform the duty.
