Tom & Jerry Movie Review

Common Sense Media staff recommend Tom & Jerry for ages 6 and up. The review states, "As in all Tom and Jerry outings, you can expect a lot of slapstick cartoon violence, with an added kick here because it's depicted against a live-action backdrop." This is unsurprising to fans of the original Tom & Jerry franchise.

Don't forget to bring your blankets, snacks, and drinks, and come out to watch this reboot of a cartoon classic. Sunscreen and bug spray are also recommended. For those avoiding the harmful chemicals in traditional insect repellants, consider this DIY recipe:

  • 1 cup of coconut oil
  • 30 drops citronella or geranium oil
  • 20 drops lemon oil
  • 20 drops eucalyptus oil
  • 20 drops lavender oil
  • 10 drops rosemary oil

Be sure to apply sunscreen prior to the application of insect repellant.
