Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott Is An MVP Candidate After Impressive Week 1 vs. Bucs | Cowboys Rumors

Dak Prescott’s return to the NFL was successful in Week 1 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In fact, Dak was so good that he’s quickly emerged as a viable MVP candidate. Prescott carried the Cowboys offense, going 42 of 58 for 403 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception, which was a drop by CeeDee Lamb. Prescott missed most of the 2020 season with an ankle injury and part of training camp with a shoulder strain, but he diced up one of the NFL’s best defenses to start the 2021 NFL season. Prescott’s play has shown once again that he is elite, as Cowboys Report Host Tom Downey explains.
