The chain originated in the northwest U.S. It also has stores in Denver, Orlando, Austin, and Houston.

Founded in Portland, Oregon in 2003, chain is known for its gourmet doughnut category. Two of its more well known flavors are the Memphis Mafia, and The Cannolo. The Bacon Maple bar is perhaps its most famous variety.
