When Will Justice Be Served
The feeling of very uneasy and downright angry about the incidents which occurred over the last week in Louisiana, Minnesota, Dallas, and probably other places that we don’t know about yet. It’s ridiculous that in 2016 we are STILL dealing with racism, police brutality, and a host of other issues in a country that just celebrated FREEDOM on the fourth of July. I guess what people I fail to realize is AMERICA was freed from Britain in 1776 but the people who live in America are not really FREE. We are still bound by the laws and failed justice system which repeatedly allows people to NOT be held accountable for actions that DON’T justify the RIGHT to kill another human being!

Many Americans have always joked about world war three, but as of right now in April of 2022 we are at war and it is getting out of control. From such a heavy impact of Covid, many Houstonians have yet to secure a dependable job or source of income. Rent is still behind, our children and loved ones are still getting sick. "Take the covid vaccine", we are told repeatedly. Yet over and over we see one after another still contract covid even after being vaccinated. The drastic surge in gasoline prices has increased Houston road rage dramatically, if you only had a quarter tank of gas and you are in Houston traffic you just might run out of gas before you make it to your destination. If you only had $10.00 to your name until payday, you have to choose between putting gas in your car to go to work....buying your family something to eat for dinner..... Your state leaders believe it is a great job to migrate non-Houstonians to our city and give them the job that you just applied for three days ago by the way your application was going to be denied anyway. Why you may ask, due to the fact there's an immigrant who has the same needs as you is chosen because its bad in their home country and our country has no problem helping outside people but a great problem in helping the American people who have been here. The state of Texas has so many helping programs examples; ebt, housing, and Medicaid, however, statistics show only approximately 40% of Houston actually receive state benefits but 80% of immigrants receive state benefits after migrating. There are not enough jobs available, the price of gas is costing meals, and the increase in rent has families sleeping in their cars with nowhere to go and no hope for better because we are at WAR. WELCOME TO WORLD WAR 3.
