Connie Dawson

The Easthampton Candidate Forum will be held virtually from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM on Thursday, October 28th. All candidates in the two contested races (Mayor and At-Large City Council) have been invited to participate. The candidates for Mayor are Eric K. Berzins, Nicole LaChapelle (incumbent), Keith Routhier, and Donald Torrey. The five candidates running for the four City Councilor At-Large seats are Koni Denham, David Meunier, Brad Riley, Lindsey Rothschild (incumbent), and Owen Zaret (incumbent).

The virtual Forum will be divided into two sessions. The first, at 6:30 PM, will be the Mayoral candidate forum. The second, at 8 PM, will be the At-Large City Council candidate forum. The audience that attends the Forum via Zoom will be able to ask questions through the chat button. They will be presented at the end of each session.

Easthampton Media will facilitate the webinar. There will be three ways to watch live:

1. Join on Zoom https://bit.ly/EasthamptonForums (recommended if you would like to ask questions on the Chat)

2. Watch live on Easthampton cable TV channel 193

3. Watch online at www.youtube.com/easthamptonmedia

A recording of the forum will be available on Easthampton Media's cable TV channel 193 and Easthampton Media's YouTube channel. Closed captioning will be available on the YouTube recording and translation of the closed captioning will also be available.

The forum is being presented to inform the public about the views of all candidates on a broad range of issues, particularly those affecting the environment. It is sponsored by Easthampton Media, Easthampton Climate Action and the Easthampton Democratic Committee. The forum takes no positions in support of or opposition to any of the candidates.
