This Cemetery was Forgotten and Hiding in Plain Sight in a North Carolina Neighborhood

This historic North Carolina cemetery was once lost and is now recovered by The Friends of the Geer Cemetery. Many of the individuals buried here were once enslaved by the nearby Stagville Plantation. It was so overgrown, that the neighborhood didn't know it was there. Or, there was rumors it was there. There are over 2000 buried there.
