Heil Ranch is an open space popular with mountain bike rides and hikers in Boulder County, Colorado. But this Boulder County open space is also the home of many historical structures in the area that is called Altona and on the old Heil Ranch. Today we are going to walk around the property to look at some of these historical buildings. Such as the Altona Schoolhouse, old Heil Ranch structures and walk the Schoolhouse Loop Trail.
