The spectacular Wyoming Pioneer Memorial Museum preserves Wyoming's pioneer history. The museum is located on the Wyoming State Fairground in Douglas, Wyoming. This western history museum houses one of the largest collections of historical memorabilia, which will take you on a trip back through time. The museum also includes the true origins of the Jackalope. Which was created right in Douglas, Wyoming. The museum is also the home to a tipi used in the movie Dances with Wolves. Which was filmed locally.
