Saturday is Free Comic Book Day, and here's where to go in Colorado Springs

(Colorado Springs, CO) Saturday, May 6th, marks the twenty-first anniversary of Free Comic Book Day.

The first Free Comic Book Day coincided with the opening weekend of the 2002 Marvel Spiderman movie. There were four free comics available that year.

More than two decades later, the highly anticipated annual event is still going strong with forty-four free comics in 2023 (selection may vary by location).

Free Comic Book Day is a perfect time to visit a local comic book store and explore new reading material or find old favorites - there is something for everyone!
