(Colorado Springs, CO) Not only is Friday, June 3rd, National Donut Day, but it is also the first Friday of the month. That means it is time for First Friday Downtown, a monthly event in downtown Colorado Springs featuring art, music, and special events that are free and open to the public.

What better way to experience First Friday than with the Neon Pigs! Who are the NPs you ask? They describe themselves best on their website:

we are a group of super dope, extremely good-looking, ultra-modest creative people that believe in building something completely unique."

This fun group has curated an entertaining First Friday tour called "Hoofin' it with the Pigs." As a bonus, it is free, but you do have to register for the event.

The group will meet at LUMEN8 Rooftop Social (402 S. Tejon Street - 8th floor) starting at 4:30 p.m. (show up any time between 4:30 and 5:30). Each registered guest will receive a complimentary beverage before departing at 5:30 p.m. for the evening event. This month, the group will be hoofing it around downtown to check out the twelve new art installations for the 24th Annual Art on the Streets exhibit.

The event is limited to 15 people, and there are only eight spots left. Register now.

First Friday Bonus

In addition to great art and music this Friday, you can also enjoy a free 20-minute bike ride with PikeRide using code PEDAL4ART or a $6 credit (about 20 minutes) towards a VEO scooter ride with code 1fridayjun

Twenty-three downtown venues are hosting First Friday events on June 3rd with a great mix of art, music, food, and fun. You don't want to miss it! Go here for more information.
