(Colorado Springs, CO) This weekend is the unofficial start of summer, and what better way to welcome the season than with some baseball! On Saturday, May 28th, the Rocky Mountain Vibes are hosting Springs Appreciation Day with complimentary tickets to the game.
The Vibes will play the Glacier Range Riders from Montana, and the first pitch is at 6:30 p.m.
U.C. Health Park, the baseball stadium, has a capacity of 8500, so there is plenty of room for everyone. To reserve your free Upper GA seats, go here.
The Rocky Mountain Vibes are one of ten teams in the Pioneer Baseball League (PBL), a developmental league with players that have no more than three years of professional baseball experience. During the season, each team plays 96 games against both North and South Division teams from Montana, Idaho, Utah, and Colorado.
There are three Colorado teams in the PBL including the Grand Junction Rockies, Northern Colorado Owlz (Windsor, CO), and our own Rocky Mountain Vibes.
If you can't make it to the game this Saturday, there will be plenty of opportunities to go to the ballpark this year. The Rocky Mountain Vibes run promotions all season long including $2 tickets on Tuesday, beer specials on Thursday, fireworks on Friday, theme nights on Saturday, and military appreciation day on Sunday. To see the full promotional schedule, go here.
In addition to watching some great baseball, don't forget to visit with the team's cool mascot, Toasty the S'more.
I'll see you at the ballpark.
