New Capital Tacos Location Opens in Riverview, Fl.

Capital Tacos officially opened their doors to their fifth location in Riverview, Fl. today and this time they're expanding their menu bigger than ever, including all new vegetarian option, appetizer plate and new flavor profiles. Capital Tacos began in Land O' Lakes, Florida in 2013 and has since won several awards including top taco joint in Florida, top 3 taco in country and number 2 restauarnt in Tampa on Yelp. They advocate #doneright for their fresh food that they make daily and a menu that offers a variety of affordable and unique options.

The local Florida business is celebrating the Grand Opening of its newest restaurant this weekend from 12/4/20 to 12/6/20. Located in the Tuva Food Hall in Riverview, Fl., it shares the space with a small convenience store as well as Jeremiah's Ice. It is the perfect place to grab food on the go. There are also a small number of tables in the middle that provide the opportunity to enjoy your food right there. Capital Tacos is well known in the Tampa area for their creative Tex-Mex flavor combinations such as the Big Kahuna (fried fish tossed in Carolina gold salsa) and the Hen House (adobo chicken). The different specialities are offered in a variety of forms including a taco, a rice bowl or a burrito.

The 3 Little Piggies Tacos: Pork 3 ways (chorizo, seared pork carnitas, and bacon)

Recently, Capital Tacos revamped their menu and now offer monster quesadillas, like the Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadilla and breakfast options including the Epic Breakfast Burrito. This burrito is stuffed to the max with scrambled eggs, bacon, Chorizo, and dirty potatatoes as well as street corn, pico, jack and cheddar as well as chipotle and poblano ranch and is offered all day long.

Restaurants to get Quesabirria Tacos in Tampa

The quesabirria is all the rage right now. Birrias originated in Mexico as "street food" but soon became the hot trendy menu items for all Taco places, a foodie's dream. Two tortillas are dipped into a beef broth consome before they are fried on the grill. As the tortillas are sizzling on the grill, they are then loaded with cheese and shredded beef (birria) and then a little cilantro and onion to top it off. They are served with a side of the same consome that you can dip your tacos in for a little extra flavor before digging in. 3 Places to get the Best Thai Fried Rice in Tampa

As you probably can tell, I love Thai restaurants, especially their fried rice. Slightly different than traditional Chinese Fried Rice which uses soy sauce and white long/medium grain rice, the Thai restaurants use the longer Jasmine rice grain and are often flavored with fish sauce and oyster sauce. Similarly, though they are always spiced with onion, garlic, and green onion for the perfect Asian trinity of flavor. There are tons of good Thai restaurants here in Tampa bay but here are 3 of my favorites for fried rice specifically. Here are 4 of my favorite local restaurants here in Tampa Bay. They are Tampa institutions, built on the recipes of their families, built from scratch and history. I have written about Lee's grocery before because they are one of my absolute favorite local dives here in Tampa Bay. This local joint started as a grocery store in West Tampa a long time ago but the newest owner has repurposed it into one of the best pizza places to hang with your friends. Lee's Grocery makes homemade, baked from scratch, stone-baked pizzas and wings. You can then pair these with local beers and seltzers directly from the coolers that are located right in the dining room as well as quite a few options on tap every night. Sticking to their roots, if you are in the area, you can come to stop by the grocery to pick up a case of beers from their coolers to take home and a hot pizza from the oven. The atmosphere alone here is an incredible addition to the Tampa community.

Best Gumbo Restaurants in Tampa and Surround Areas
