A Stitch In Time Alterations rescued me in time for my sister's wedding!

This year my family has one of the most anticipated events of our lives. The baby of the family is getting married! She selected my bridesmaid dress and while I love it, it arrived over 3 inches too long. It also is a "wrap" style dress that tends to start spreading apart up top, in the chest area and it was showing far too much skin. I have never in my life had alterations done on a garment. And not only that, it's rather stressful to have someone start altering a brand new dress after you have already spend a lot of money on it! What if it get's messed up?!

I found a little shop near me, called A Stitch In Time and I feel like I can breath easy again. This shop is run by a single gentleman who knows exactly what he's doing. I felt at such ease! He's does not require an appointment, and he asks you to bring the shoes you are wearing with the dress. You walk in, he guides you to a dressing room and it took about 5 minutes for him to pin up the sides and explain the stitch he would put in, for the chest area. And that was it! Easy as heck.

My dress was done in 2 weeks and I remembered to bring cash, as that is the only method of payment that is accepted. I brought my dress home and put it on immediately. It is perfect! Perfect. My sister (the bride) is just over the moon at how it looks.

I've already called one of the other bridesmaids and told her this is definitely the local place to support if she wants her dress to turn out great. I'll be back to this great shop, next time I need an alteration.
