There's something to be said about a restaurant that has been in business for that long. Jennie Cascone, who owned and operated Cascone's Restaurant since 1954 passed away on January 7, 2003.
Cascone's is a vegetarian-friendly restaurant. Yelp gives it a a 4.2, and if you follow Facebook reviews, Cascone's in the Northland received a 4.4 from over 2,700 reviews.
With Cascone's, you get a family owned venue, and it's local. The Cascone family has been running their restaurant for four generations. Inside, it's obvious they preserve their Sicilian heritage.
No chain here except for another family location in Overland Park, Kansas. You also know your meal will be memorable in the sense that it is homemade.
