Recall on strollers

On October 7, 2021, a recall was issued on the Zoom 360 Ultralight jogging stroller. The hazard described is as “The stroller's front wheel bearing can fail or detach, posing a fall and injury hazard.” The recall number is 22-701. There are about 9,200 units that need repair.

If you have purchased one of these strollers, you can contact Joovy at 800-495-8718 between the hours of 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (CST) on weekdays. You can also contact Joovy by email at, or go to its website of by clicking on "Voluntary Recall of Zoom 360 Ultralight 806X Front Fork Bearing mfg. between March 2020-October 2020" where you can gather more information.

According to The Emergency Email and Wireless Network,

This recall involves Zoom 360 Ultralight jogging strollers with SKU 8060, 8061, 8067 and 8069 and a batch number between March 2020 (03-XX-20) and October 2020 (10-XX-20). The strollers were sold in black, blueberry, charcoal and red colors and weigh about 26 lbs. The stroller label on the inside leg contains the SKU and batch numbers. "Joovy" is written across the front of the stroller and "Zoom Ultralight" is written on the parent organizer attachment on the bottom of the stroller. See Joovy's video at to install the repair.

It's advised to stop using this stroller and refer to the contact information above to obtain a free repair kit to replace the front wheel fork bearing. All known purchasers are being contacted directly.

At least 25 incidents of restricted front wheel movement have been reported, with 12 incidents where the wheel fork bearing detached after wearing through the housing, and at least one fall that resulted in bruising.

This stroller was sold at juvenile stores nationwide, or "online at,,, and from May through December in 2020 for about $250."
