The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Cameron Kirsten's (Linden Ashby) revenge on Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) takes a shocking turn during the week of June 5. Soap Opera Digest reports that Cameron frames Nick for assault, forcing Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) to place Nick under arrest.

The Genoa City detective believes Nick is innocent, but he must follow the law. Based on Cameron's injuries and Nick admitting to being at his hotel suite, he had to place Nick under arrest.

After Faith Newman's (Reylynn Caster) cat is poisoned, Nick is sure Cameron did it. He confronts Cameron about it, hoping to stop further harassment. Nick fears next time, Cameron will hurt Faith or Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).

Nick cannot stop thinking about Cameron's threat before he is arrested and sent to prison for 20 years. He promised to return to kill 'Slick' for interfering in his "relationship" with Sharon. Nick will do whatever he can to protect Sharon and his daughters from Cameron's grasp.

'The Young and the Restless' Spoilers-- Nick Sees Red

Joshua Morrow shares with SOD that Nick "sees red" when he learns Cameron possibly poisoned Faith's cat. He isn't thinking about the consequences just wants to stop Cameron from hurting his family "by any means necessary." Nick assumes that he can deal with the fallout later. But this time, Cameron takes their beef with each other to the next level and finds a way to remove Nick from the situation.

When Cameron opens the door, Nick gets in his face accusing him of poisoning Faith's cat. The Young and the Restless spoilers that Cameron remains calm and pushes Nick's buttons. Cameron knows that the way to get under Nick's skin is to dangle his "love" for Sharon.

Clearly, Cameron is delusional, as he completely repulses Sharon. Before Nick leaves, Cameron discloses he is still in love with Sharon and is back in Genoa City to win her over.

This makes Nick's blood boil. Now, he knows why Cameron is back in Genoa City. Cameron thinks that he can convince Sharon to open her heart to him. That blows Nick away. After everything Cameron did to Sharon, she would never give the man the time of day. It's a dire situation for Nick. Faith is home for the summer; he cannot let Cameron hurt his precious daughter.

'Y&R' Spoilers-- Chance Arrests Nick For Assault

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Nick makes a fist and considers punching Cameron. Insteadhitsnches the wall and leaves. Later, Chance shows up at Crimson Lights to inform Nick that Cameron is pressing charges against him for assault. Nick swears that he didn't touch him.

Chance wants to believe him, but Nick cannot explain Cameron's bruised and swollen face. Cameron shows up with cuts and bruises on his face. He looks like someone repeatedly hit him. Chance has no other choice but to arrest Nick. Nick realizes that Cameron has set him up. Actor Joshua Morrow says this is only the beginning of Cameron's reign of terror.

Linden Ashby, the actor who plays Cameron, said his return is not a redemption storyline. He's back to kill and terrorize. That certainly doesn't sound good for Nick and Sharon.
