The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will lose his family and career after Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) exposed his CPS lie. Soap Dirt reported that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will disown his son for framing Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). If that's not bad enough, Thomas will lose his job at Forrester Creations and custody of his son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).
Soap Opera Digest reported in their December 12 issue that Thomas holds Steffy partly responsible for his deception. She told him that they should get their parents together by any means necessary. They both agreed that their father needed to get away from Brooke. So, when Steffy revealed Thomas's CPS lie, Thomas felt betrayed by his sister.
Thomas Knows He Was Wrong
Just because Thomas justified his actions doesn't mean he doesn't understand that he was wrong. He knew it was wrong to involve Douglas in his scheme to push Ridge and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) together. He believed the end justified the means.
In Thomas's mind, as long as his parents remarried, the lies and manipulation were worth it. Bold and the Beautiful spoilers suggest that Thomas regrets his decision to call CPS using a voice-changing app that sounded like Brooke's voice. However, he stands by this reasoning. He just wanted his parents to reunite and rid himself of Brooke's meddling with Douglas.
Ridge Cannot Forgive Thomas
Even though Ridge acknowledges that Thomas feels remorseful about the lie, he cannot forgive him. B&B spoilers state that Ridge informs his son that he is no longer a part of the Forrester family or the company Forrester Creations.
Matthew Atkinson shared with Soap Opera Digest that Thomas feared that Ridge would pull that card, but hearing it was a crushing blow. After Ridge blows up at Thomas, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) blasts Thomas about the CPS lie, vowing to keep Douglas away from him. While the idea of his son being kept from him hurts, he fully supports Hope's decision as he knows she is doing it to keep Douglas safe.
