Although I do support eating local, this is an awesome restaurant you shouldn't miss out on! As your wandering through South Lake Union, Local is a must do. This place prides themselves in awesome food, drinks, and atmosphere. The locations are conveniently placed in neighborhoods the founder loves! They have locations in all over Canada (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Toronto, and Ottawa) and one awesome location here in Seattle.

No no, we aren't making margaritas, I am talking about electric scooters! It is surprisingly the first (or 40th) date you won't forget. It seems really simple... and it is!. We have had so much fun riding around the city and different neighborhoods in the area. All you do is go up to the scooter (or other vehicles) and scan the bar code with your app. The scooter will unlock, give you quick instructions, and you are off! I was charged $11.41 for a 26 minute ride and it was worth it!

Love Coffee? Love Records? - this is the place for you! The shop sits in Columbia City and has some amazing shops/restaurants near for you to browse. Empire Coffee and Records is a tow in one - coffee and record shop. The coffee shop is downstairs and the record shop is upstairs. Their coffee is smooth and sits at the top of my list of amazing Seattle coffee shops. The cashew milk is made in-house and is amazing! Although, I prefer their oat milk lattes.

Take it from the Southerner - I have found the best chicken sandwich in Seattle (so far)!. Cookie's Country Chicken is a must try, right in the heart of Pioneer Square. If you have ever been to a game, you've probably walked by Quality Athletics. Quality Athletics was known for their fire pits, food, and drinks before a home game. During COVID Cookie's Country Chicken popped up to make its grand entrance. Every time I have been, the owner rolls out the red carpet and treats all of his guests like royalty.

Caffe Vita is one of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle and they are all over! My favorite location is on Capitol Hill. This company has been in Seattle since 1995 and is local owned - even better! The caffe believes in farm direct, single origin, and have a vintage roasting process.

It's hard to say "NO" to having a similar experience to The Beatles! The Edgewater Hotel became famous for hosting The Beatles, where no other hotel would let them stay. Fans went crazy and the hotel had to install special safety measures to accommodate the band. There is a famous picture of The Beatles fishing out of their hotel window - since the hotel is right on the water.
