Plum tired of not having vegan options as a foodie? Look no further! Check out Plum Bistro for some of the best vegan food Seattle has to offer. Most people think that when you go out looking for vegan food, you'll find a bunch of salads and other raw vegetables... that couldn't be further from the truth! As a non-vegan, I tried Plum Bistro and was super impressed.
Check them out for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Some of the tasty meals we tried:
- Mac and Yease ($12): Who doesn't want/like Mac and "Cheese." This dish is super rich and you don't need much. When it comes to the table you might be disappointed by the size, but the portion is just right!
- Sausage, Egg, and Potato Burrito ($14): This was my least favorite dish we got... it was okay, but the other food was MUCH better. The "sausage" didn't have the greatest flavor, but the rest of the burrito was on point!
- Buffalo Portobello Burger ($20.50): Coming from a person that loves buffalo, but hates mushrooms - This. Is. A. Must. Have. I wasn't expecting to like this, but it was worth it! I will be going back for this dish alone.
I had a great experience here and plan to go back soon! Prices are great, little igloo-like greenhouses on the streets, and socially distanced indoor dining is in full effect. I hear there are other locations under the same owner you can check out for different foods: Plum Chopped, Sugar Plum, Pantry by Plum Bistro, and Plum truck. I am PLUM impressed, hope you are too!
