This is arguably one of the best hikes in the area - it is easy to argue since this trail seems to be one of the most trafficked trails I have been on. You get all of the amazing views with this one, it really pulls out all of the stops.
Keep in mind, this is rated difficult with about 6.6 Miles and over 3,300 feet of elevation gain. I would recommend and early start to beat the heat and all of the people. You can choose from 2 parking lots if you get lucky, but you will feel just as lucky when you are on this hike experiencing the views, wildflowers, lakes, and much more.
You will walk through the trees, then you'll go through some rocks that are like steps, and the top of the trail is loose gravel.
