Catch a Colorado Rockies game at Coors Field
Coors Field is super fun to catch a baseball game, but I secretly go here for the food! The lines get pretty log to grab a beverage, so get there early to get your drink on. - Gourmet Hot Dogs with habanero chilies (pictured)

I ALWAYS look for hikes with water features - this one has a beautiful lake that is worth the trek. This hike is a little easier than some that I do, but still a perfect hike. It is about 2.5 miles and only a little over 1,000 feet elevation gain.

This park is right in the middle of an urban area, but also has amazing natural surroundings. I love to come here to walk around, think about my day, and exercise. People are always friendly and it is not uncommon for you to meet some new friends. You can run through the paths along the water and run over the bridges in the park. This is a perfect place to get some fresh air and just enjoy yourself... even bring a nice book to hang out alongside the water.

For the price, this is your best bet! This is a recommended local spot for some good, cheap tacos! Also, the burritos are the size of a small child (I recommend the Chile Relleno burrito - make sure to get it smothered).

I am always looking for good pizza spots - this is on of my favorites. You can get some amazing craft pizza - I like to think of this place as a hidden gem. Right now, I think they are operating out of a different location, but it is still worth it (keep it on your list for when they move back to the original location).

This trail is one of the places I like to take my visitors to - it is a pretty easy trail with plenty of parking. You get to hike through the trees most of the time and enjoy the beautiful forest - perfect for catching up and talking about old times. You will find yourself going up hill for most of the first part of the hike, but will level out some. You will go through the some ups and downs through the hike that will give you some relief.

LODO 'Lower Downtown Denver' is one of my favorite neighborhoods in the area. You can find some of my favorite restaurants, bars, clubs, and shops here. This area of town is historic and has awesome murals everywhere that are picture perfect. Larimer square is here (I previously posted about). You have to check out the historic architecture and explore the beautiful clean streets. Usually there are street performers out in the summertime playing as you walk around, shop, and find some food - what a perfect evening. This is a must do - I might be a little partial since I live so close!

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater is arguable one of the best venues in the world! You can visit to see the Amphitheater and the beautiful views (but make sure they aren't preparing for a concert) or you can book a show and experience the magic it has to offer.

I am slightly obsessed with Wordshop. It honestly has the cutest paper goods in the world (biased I am sure). This place can make customer invitations, business cards, and much more. I go in here mainly for gifts and cards that I am sending across country to my family in Tennessee.

One of my favorite places in the city to hang out and explore is Larimer Square. I have been coming here for years to hang out with friends or just spend my time. They have amazing shopping, some of my favorite restaurants, cool bars, and much more. They always decorate to match world events and holidays - it's perfect!

This is arguably one of the best hikes in the area - it is easy to argue since this trail seems to be one of the most trafficked trails I have been on. You get all of the amazing views with this one, it really pulls out all of the stops.
