We love the mother's in our lives and if we could spoil them all the time, we totally would. For those who are fortunate enough to spend time in person with their mothers/grandmothers/wives/aunts/sisters/friends, we thought we share a few activities in Washington, DC that you could treat her/them to. Here are 3 Mother's Day activities during these beautiful spring days.

Friends of the National Arboretum: Mother's Day Forest Bathing (May 9th 9-11 a.m.)

Flowers are a tradition on Mother's Day, but how about you go beyond flowers and take the mother in your life to a therapeautic event at DC's National Arboretum. Friends of the National Arboretum, a non-profit organization established to enhance and support the U.S. National Arboretum in Washington DC, is hosting a 2 hour forest bathing ceremony.

Mother's Day Paint-Brunch (May 9th 11 a.m-2:30pm)

The Argentta Spa in the Watergate Hotel (By Appointment Only)

The Argentta Spa, located on level B3 of the Watergate hotel, offers wellness and spa services. The spa is open to hotel guests, spa guests and club members. For the expectant mothers who just want an opportunity to sit back and relax, Argentta offers "The Mother to Be Massage" for 50 minutes ($175) or 80 minutes ($260). This massage is geared towards mothers in their second or third trimester.
