While looking through my Instagram, I came across this unique eatery
that serves up delicious hand cut fries loaded with unique toppings of your choice. I definitely had to go check this place out for myself. The name of this eatery is I love Frys in Villa Park, IL.
The location is in a tiny strip mall next to a 7-Eleven off of Villa Avenue.
The day that I went to check this place out was one of the unique summer life days. The door was open and I was immediately greeted by one of the friendliest owners I’ve ever encountered.
The owner had no idea that I was there to review her establishment. She began to immediately talk to me as a long time customer and friend.
I told her that I saw this eatery on Instagram and her food looked so good. I was excited to try it out for myself.
She began to tell me that her popular items on her menu are the Carne Asada fries and also the garlic butter fries.
I definitely had to trade both of these items. I also wanted to try the Philly cheese steak fries And the Elote fries.
The items do not take long to prepare and were brought out promptly.
They looked picture perfect almost as if something you would see on Instagram. The Carne Asada fries looked ridiculously good.
I took my first bite of the Carne Asada fries and I was blown away. The fries were perfectly crisp, not too crunchy and not too soft. The creamy from the avocado went so well with the salty fries. The steak was tender. It was a true food, taste explosion.
The Elote Fries were loaded with sweet corn and cotija cheese. The flavors were so authentic to the street Elote you could get in Pilsen.
The garlic butter fries also were absolutely fantastic. They were not overly garlicky and were extremely savory.
The cheesesteak fries were meaty and cheesy goodness. These were all absolutely fantastic and far exceeded my expectations.
The attention to detail in all of these food items and the complete awareness of using the best ingredients shined in both flavor and appearance.
I cannot recommend coming to this place enough. This is great for an afternoon lunch. I give this place a rating of 9 out of 10.
