My absolute favorite Asian restaurant serving Chinese and Indonesian food has brand new menu items for the new year.
The restaurant that I am talking about is Phat Phat in Schaumburg.
Once a year they update their menu to bring the most authentic items for their customers to try. Here is a list of their new menu items.
Javanese Satay - Skewered Chicken chili, shallot, candle nut.
Spicy Szechwan Xiao Long Bao - Szechuan Peppercorn, pork, chili pepper, dried shrimp.
Golden Streng Fren Bao - Shrimp, Chicken, Sesame, Vinegar
Mango Bao - Butter, milk, heavy cream.
Salt & Pepper Enoki Mushroom - Potato starch, tempura flour, green onion.
Truffle Bao - Truffle oil, king mushroom, cabbage, carrot.
Beef Rempah - Top round beef, onion, lemongrass, candle nut, galangal, and dried shrimp.
Mie Goreng - Indonesian fried noodles, Shrimp, Egg Garlic, Shallot.
I have tried all of their new items, which are ridiculously good.
My absolute favorite new appetizer is the fried Enoki mushrooms. They are very addictive and delicious.
The Mie Goreng Noodle dish is so savory with mushroom flavor you have to try it for yourself.
I do not say this often but this is on my Top 10 list of absolute must-try best restaurants in Illinois. I want to make a point also. This is my genuine opinion I have not been compensated in any way by the establishment to advertise for them.
If you stop in say hi to General Manager Denny and say Chicago Food King sent you.
Phat Phat in Schaumburg gets a rate rating of 10 out of 10. This is a must-try.
